The NewLook Concrete Stain family includes The ORIGINAL Solid Stain, CoolStain PRO, Translucent Color Enhancer, Designer Series Enhancer. They are water-based, polymer-modified colored concrete stain formulas used for premium concrete floor staining, durability and penetration. These eco friendly materials help reduce your environmental footprint because they are non-reactive, non-caustic, have a (near) neutral pH and are used to get longer life out of new and existing colored concrete surfaces. They contain no VOCs. And they are manufactured and shipped in concentrated, undiluted form, which minimizes resource consumption during transportation. Our decorative concrete stain products are breathable and allow concrete to naturally absorb carbon dioxide. They penetrate the surface of porous concrete and form yet breathable finish that does not require hazardous or environmentally damaging sealers.

CoolStain PRO™ is a patent-pending eco friendly concrete stain formula with infrared reflective properties that reduce the surface temperature of stained concrete exposed to sunlight. It keeps concrete cooler by up to 50 degrees, reducing the urban heat island effect (left image) and contributing to lower energy consumption. This eco friendly product is completely opaque and is used to restore and rejuvenate old, tired-looking colored concrete surfaces. Perfect for pool decks and municipal property. Translucent Color Enhancer™ and Designer Series Enhancer™ are semi-transparent eco friendly concrete coatings used to faux finish and transform concrete into works of art. Professional installers use the Enhancers as a much safer and inexpensive alternative to acid stain. They help minimize your environmental footprint since acid stain is a highly corrosive and reactive material and supplying marble necessitates a great deal of resource consumption. May contribute to earning LEED credits for Indoor Environmental Quality, 4.2 Low Emitting Materials, Paints & Concrete Coatings since it contributes no VOCs.

EcoAcid™ is a water-based, non-corrosive exfoliating concrete cleanser. It is an effective, non-fuming alternative to harsh acids like muriatic acid (HCl). EcoAcid is an eco friendly product; it's non-toxic, non-hazardous, and safely prepares concrete surfaces by lightly opening up the pores without the need of energy consuming machinery. EasyStrip™ is a biodegradable, non-hazardous, eco friendly coating remover that breaks down when exposed to water. EasyStrip decomposes naturally and does not damage the environment. Use NanoSet™ Polishing System for a Sustainable, Maintainable and Durable Polished Concrete Floor Finish

Exposed concrete is one of the best eco friendly building products! It's an ideal way to eliminate the consumption of resources required to make and replace applied floor coverings, such as carpet or linoleum. In most cases, concrete already exists as part of the original construction or underneath a floor covering. Exposed concrete helps reduce the use of energy during the summer and it outlasts most floor coverings. Polished concrete is also an eco friendly alternative to natural stone since it provides a similar effect and eliminates the environmental impact of quarrying stone.

Concrete absorbs carbon dioxide and does not emit VOCs. However, hazardous VOCs are found in many floor coverings or the adhesives used to install them. Using exposed concrete improves indoor air quality problems due to sealers, polishes, chemical strippers and waxes needed to maintain other types of flooring.

And they form a chemical slurry byproduct that requires an inconvenient disposal process since it's a hazardous material. NanoSet products, however, are based on the advanced eco friendly technology of nano-silica and have a lower pH; so they are safer to handle and do not leave a dangerous residue.
